About the position

The Account Executive 3 position at Comcast is responsible for selling commercial Internet, Video, and Voice services to mid-size and large businesses. This role involves driving sales through prospecting activities, building relationships with clients, and delivering presentations that showcase Comcast's offerings. The position requires a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and the ability to maintain customer relationships to ensure retention and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations demonstrating knowledge of Comcast products and services.
  • Exceed departmental financial and unit targets through effective sales strategies.
  • Stay informed about the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to position Comcast Business Services effectively.
  • Develop sales territory by cultivating local partnerships and organizational affiliations.
  • Generate new leads through various prospecting activities, including cold calling and customer referrals.
  • Promote and position the Comcast brand within the designated territory.
  • Retain customer base by ensuring a superior customer experience and delivering on the Comcast Credo.
  • Maintain and build customer relationships to drive retention and satisfaction.
  • Prepare sales and activity reports, maintaining accurate sales records.
  • Attend out-of-office meetings with customers and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in sales or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and customer relationship management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Network Design and MAN technologies.
  • Familiarity with Voice Network Technologies including VoIP.
  • Understanding of Data Networking Technologies and Networking Protocols.
