About the position

The Account Executive 4 position at Dell Technologies focuses on developing new accounts and expanding existing ones within the Direct Sales team. This role is pivotal in building strong customer relationships and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. The Account Executive will engage with decision-makers, understand their business needs, and provide tailored technology solutions from Dell's extensive portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of customers' business and solution requirements.
  • Gain share of spend across Dell Technologies portfolio of technology solutions: server, storage, networking, software, security, and led services.
  • Run territory and/or accounts, including account planning and sales forecasting.
  • Engage with cross-functional resources and work with virtual teams to ensure alignment across the organization.
  • Regularly engage with decision makers at client facilities.
  • Provide sales leadership and experience on large, sophisticated opportunities.

Requirements

  • 8 to 12 years of experience selling technology solutions.
  • Extraordinary customer management and strategic selling skills.
  • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions tackle business problems.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and executive presentation skills.

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA).
