The Account Executive - Advanced Security Services role at Johnson Controls is focused on driving sales of integrated security solutions across various sectors. This position involves building strong partnerships with both established and new accounts, leveraging expertise in advanced security systems and IT networks to enhance community safety and security. Responsibilities

  • Champion Advanced and Integrated Security Services by building partnerships with established and new accounts.
  • Sell cutting-edge integrated security solutions, requiring a deep understanding of IP security offerings and IT networks.
  • Engage with various departments within customer organizations, including facilities, loss prevention, IT, finance, and C-suite executives.
  • Develop sales leads, solicit clients, nurture referrals, and network within local associations while attending key trade shows.
  • Build and maintain connections with security consultants and A&E firms, and engage with the new construction marketplace.
  • Conduct physical surveys of clients' facilities to identify security needs and contribute to effective security system designs.
  • Craft and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals that translate features into compelling benefits.
  • Stay informed about products and services as they relate to customer needs through continuous training and research.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of successful direct sales experience in selling large, advanced security systems, IT, and technology sectors, with a minimum of 3 years focusing on major accounts.
  • Experience in the Security Integration Industry is a must.
  • A proven track record with central control systems and monitoring devices, such as CCTV, Perimeter and Intrusion Detection Systems, and Access Control.
  • Demonstrable success in achieving sales figures between $1-3 million in integrated security business.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills, with an ability to engage senior-level executives.
  • A talent for developing and nurturing effective internal and external relationships.
  • Action-oriented, with strong intrinsic motivation and business acumen, able to thrive in a matrix organization.
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed.
