About the position

The Account Executive, Agency & Client Partnerships at AMC Networks is responsible for generating revenue across various platforms including Linear, CTV, Digital, and Addressable. This role involves evangelizing AMC Networks' unique offerings to assigned agencies and clients, maintaining relationships, and ensuring accurate representation of programming and marketing solutions. The position requires a proactive approach to find new business opportunities and grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue for AMC Network offerings across all platforms including Linear, CTV, Digital, and Addressable.
  • Evangelize AMC Networks' unique offerings to assigned agencies and clients, educating them on the viewers-first approach.
  • Find new business with assigned agency and client lists and grow current business by upselling and cross-selling.
  • Present to clients and agencies showcasing AMC Networks Programming, Content, Marketing Solutions, and Digital & Data platform offerings.
  • Stay updated on all programs/content developed by AMC Networks to ensure accurate representation to clients.
  • Provide regular updates to sales management as required.
  • Maintain honest relationships and ensure all presentations contain accurate research data and representation of products.
  • Confirm all orders with sales management before closing deals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience
  • Fluent background in linear TV and strong understanding of the changing marketplace
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic landscape, including programmatic buying and business models
  • Strong personal relationships with leading media agencies and programmatic advertisers
  • Demonstrated success in a goal-oriented sales environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on generating results
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational, detail, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
  • Proficient in Salesforce CRM for pipeline management
