About the position

The Account Executive role at Salesforce focuses on driving revenue growth through innovative AI-driven solutions and fostering long-term client relationships. This position is integral to the Agentforce Specialist selling team, where the executive will leverage their technical expertise to understand client needs and demonstrate how Salesforce's products can transform customer engagement. The role requires a blend of technical sales acumen and the ability to communicate complex solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and position Agentforce opportunities with potential customers using sales knowledge and AI modeling.
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce Sales team to drive Agentforce growth at current and new customers.
  • Articulate how the Salesforce Product stack can deliver tailored solutions to transform customer engagement.
  • Conduct comprehensive technical discovery to analyze business problems and demonstrate Agentforce's capabilities.
  • Source and qualify Agentforce opportunities that fit the ideal customer profile.
  • Lead discovery conversations to uncover prospective customers' critical business needs.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to assess clients' sophisticated business needs and demonstrate Agentforce's solutions.
  • Craft and present Selling Points of View (POVs) that highlight the value of Agentforce.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless client experience throughout the sales process.
  • Align solutions with clients' long-term strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise and commercial B2B sales within highly technical sales contexts.
  • Deep understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including agent platform configuration and integration.
  • Experience with AI-driven customer engagement solutions and the Salesforce platform.
  • Strong technical selling skills, able to explain AI models to non-technical clients.
  • Proven track record of surpassing sales targets in a technical sales environment.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technology sales.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Cloud Data Warehouse technologies.
  • Familiarity with Predictive and prescriptive modeling techniques.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools like Tableau.
