About the position

As a Partner Account Executive at Softchoice, you will focus on acquiring new customers within AWS's account base and managing opportunities that lead to digital transformation. Your role will involve positioning Softchoice solutions to enhance customer engagement with AWS technologies, driving growth and success for both the customers and Softchoice.

Responsibilities

  • Win new customers by acquiring new AWS clients and securing services that support their growth in the cloud.
  • Prospect and cold call new contacts and accounts to generate leads.
  • Drive and own opportunities from assessing customer needs to closing deals.
  • Expertly manage your pipeline and customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with AWS presales technical team members to drive sales strategy and technical solutions.
  • Apply analytical and strategic thinking to achieve sales targets and maintain business acumen.
  • Nurture strategic relationships with AWS, acting as an extension of their sales team.
  • Stay updated on AWS products and services, and attend necessary training.
  • Support AWS demand generation strategy and sales activation campaigns.
  • Engage in ongoing personal development through certificates and training.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in selling technology solutions in a sales or pre-sales role.
  • Experience working with Mid-Market Accounts is preferred.
  • Proven tenacity in pursuing new clients and developing business.
  • Cold calling experience with a track record of success in winning new customers.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong customer-facing presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills for solving complex customer problems.
  • Experience in managing relationships at all organizational levels and mobilizing stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
