About the position

The Enterprise Account Executive at Snowflake is responsible for driving sales and building customer relationships within the digital native and startup sectors. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, providing technical guidance, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective onboarding and ongoing support. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and possesses a strong understanding of cloud applications and data analytics technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Sell to 500+ digital native and startup prospects in your region.
  • Build trusted relationships with Snowflake internal resources, external partners, and client account teams to qualify deals and identify business value.
  • Provide technical guidance to set proper expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Leverage domain knowledge to align Snowflake's value to customers' business and technical problems.
  • Deliver standard, customized, and strategic solution demonstrations and presentations throughout the sales cycle.
  • Guide customers in digital transformation and cloud adoption, integrating Snowflake with their architecture and strategy.
  • Provide ongoing, post-sales technical guidance to drive customer utilization of Snowflake.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of field sales experience preferred with an emphasis on data, data analytics, database (SQL & NoSQL), ETL, or business intelligence.
  • Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships.
  • Experience determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions.
  • Proactive, independent thinking with a high energy/positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • BA/BS preferred.
