About the position

The Account Executive for the Commercial Lab in the Mid-Atlantic region is responsible for driving sales and achieving revenue goals within assigned territories, which include Maryland, Washington D.C., Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. This role involves collaborating with the Commercial Lab Sales Director to identify market opportunities, negotiate contracts, and ensure high customer satisfaction through effective relationship management and support.

Responsibilities

  • Call on commercial laboratories within assigned territory
  • Uncover and understand customer needs, positioning Diasorin solutions against competitors
  • Develop and present unique solutions that meet the needs of key decision makers
  • Provide fast and reliable sales support to existing commercial laboratory customers
  • Grow the Diasorin test menu on all existing instruments within the assigned territory
  • Maintain high data integrity within the CRM
  • Meet or exceed the sales plan designed to achieve established instrument and reagent revenue goals
  • Drive collaboration with Applications and Service colleagues for customer satisfaction
  • Lead sales responsibilities in the implementation of new instruments
  • Prepare and execute business reviews internally and with existing customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3+ years relevant sales or equivalent experience with a demonstrated record of success required
  • Experience in the in vitro diagnostics market preferred
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills including making impactful presentations
  • Negotiation, contracting and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment
  • Strategic planning and organizational skills
