About the position

The Account Executive at Tradesmen International is responsible for driving sales and maintaining client relationships within the construction staffing sector. This role involves educating contractors about the company's services, generating new business leads, and ensuring client satisfaction through proactive communication and relationship management. The position is field-based, requiring regular visits to clients and field employees to foster strong partnerships and enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Create and grow sales
  • Maintain and exceed sales goals set by the Company
  • Communicate detailed Client needs to the Operations team
  • Generate sales leads and prospects for Clients
  • Make direct sales calls and presentations to Clients at their place of business
  • Educate Prospects and Clients about the relationship between the use of a highly skilled variable workforce and productivity and profitability
  • Register new Clients according to the business plan and educate the Client about the benefits and terms of doing business with Tradesmen
  • Collect monies owed Tradesmen on a timely basis
  • Attend trade-related association and networking events
  • Follow up with registered Clients to build relationships and create initial orders
  • Build ongoing relationships with each Client's senior management and jobsite superintendents
  • Conduct follow-up communication with Client after Field Employee dispatch
  • Deliver periodic Employee evaluations to Client
  • Decide how to deal with Client issues and complaints in a proactive manner
  • Prepare Field Employees for assignments with Clients
  • Build Field Employee relationships by checking on their status and assuring them we are looking for an assignment
  • Maintain Client sales files
  • Attend required meetings and complete a Sales Activity Report weekly
  • Respond to any work-related injuries for investigation and report completion
  • Support the recruitment process by encouraging Employee referrals
  • Participate in field and classroom training activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager or Sales Manager

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Ability to build strong relationships with field employees
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Familiarity with standard computer systems and CRM systems is helpful
  • Experience cold calling, canvassing a territory, and generating new business leads is helpful
  • Position requires valid driver's license and reliable transportation
