About the position

The Account Executive position at Zeno Group involves working within the Consumer team to drive effective public relations programs and build strong client relationships. The role requires a proactive and resourceful individual who can manage multiple projects, craft media materials, and engage with various media outlets to achieve great results for clients.

Responsibilities

• Craft thoughtful pitches and build/maintain media lists for accounts.
• Manage media relations outreach to verticals spanning consumer, trade, business, and vertical press.
• Research, interview, write, and edit media materials such as news releases, fact sheets, pitches, and messaging.
• Conduct media monitoring and report results for clients.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
• Actively participate in brainstorms and share creative ideas.
• Assist in research, development, and writing of program plans.
• Coach Account Assistants and interns, supervising and delegating tasks as necessary.
• Communicate with the account team to keep them informed of timelines and deadlines.
• Practice effective project management and understand the big picture of client programs.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in consumer or brand PR.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Exceptional writing skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Cision and/or Muckrack for media list management.
• Experience managing coverage trackers for media relations.
