About the position

The Account Executive position at Futurex focuses on driving sales of cybersecurity solutions, including hardware security modules and enterprise key management. The role is based at Futurex's Engineering Campus in Bulverde, Texas, and requires a candidate with a strong sales background in the technology sector, particularly cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sales cycle, building client relationships, and staying informed about industry trends to effectively communicate the value of Futurex's offerings to prospective clients.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach efforts.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits and features of our cybersecurity solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring timely follow-ups and meeting sales targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging threats to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and technical teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and address any client concerns or requirements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions and market trends.
  • Experience with data encryption technology such as HSMs and enterprise key management.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with certificate authority & PKI, tokenization, data protection, and Crypto-as-a-Service cloud platforms.
  • CISSP, Security+, CISM, GSEC, or other security-focused certification.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
