About the position

The Account Executive for Data Cloud at Salesforce plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth and building lasting client relationships. This position focuses on leveraging the Salesforce Data Cloud to enhance customer engagement through real-time data solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical sales, particularly in B2B environments, and will be responsible for understanding client needs, presenting tailored solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential Data Cloud clients using enterprise and commercial B2B sales experience.
  • Leverage knowledge of Salesforce platform, Data Cloud, and Tableau to create tailored solutions for clients.
  • Source and qualify Data Cloud opportunities that align with the ideal customer profile.
  • Lead comprehensive discovery conversations to uncover clients' critical business needs.
  • Craft and present compelling Points of View (PoVs) that highlight the business value of Data Cloud.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified client experience throughout the sales process.
  • Align solutions with clients' long-term strategic objectives.
  • Combine deep discovery with personal insights to present compelling Data Cloud use cases.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise and commercial B2B sales within highly technical sales contexts.
  • Expertise in modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Big Query) and data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Understanding of Salesforce Advantage across Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Service Cloud.
  • Strong business acumen to steer impactful discovery conversations.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a technical sales environment.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills in technology sales.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Cloud Data Warehouse technologies.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau.
