About the position

The Account Executive for Data Protection at Zscaler is responsible for driving sales and managing the Data Protection portfolio, which includes products like DLP and CASB. This role involves engaging with customers and partners, developing account-based strategies, and achieving sales quotas in a remote capacity. The position requires a strong background in software or security sales, with a focus on building compelling business cases and collaborating with internal teams to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Become the 'go to' person for customers, partners, and internal sales teams for all data protection sales in your region.
  • Work with domain expert solution engineers to gather customer requirements and create compelling value propositions.
  • Own the Data Protection quota and achievement for the assigned territory.
  • Build and implement an account-based strategy to land and expand the data protection portfolio, driving predictable quota attainment.
  • Support sales delivery of quota as a specialist in data protection.
  • Build compelling quantifiable business cases that move buyer urgency and justify investment.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of full-cycle sales experience in software or security industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • C-level engagement experience.
  • Quota achievement ownership.
  • Account-based strategy development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with DLP and CASB.
  • Executive briefing and event experience.
  • Complex sales cycle management.
