About the position

The Named Account Executive for the Department of Homeland Security at Salesforce is responsible for driving new business growth within the DoD Navy community. This role focuses on generating new opportunities in existing accounts and leading strategic initiatives related to analytics and application platforms in federal civilian agencies. The position requires a proven track record in enterprise sales, particularly within the public sector, and emphasizes the importance of building strong customer relationships and achieving revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business in existing accounts within the Department of Homeland Security.
  • Drive strategic, enterprise-wide analytics and application platform initiatives.
  • Lead pursuit teams and coordinate with a matrix of support personnel to win new business.
  • Develop new opportunities and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in the Department of Defense (DoD) sector.
  • Proven track record of quota-carrying sales performance.
  • Experience with public sector enterprise systems and cloud computing security guidelines.
  • Strong sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Understanding of Federal Civilian Agencies and their operational needs.
  • Experience in complex sales environments within the public sector.
