About the position

The Named Account Executive for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) at Salesforce is responsible for driving new business growth within the federal civilian agencies sector. This role focuses on leveraging sales expertise to develop strategic initiatives and build strong relationships with existing customers, while also generating new opportunities in the Department of Homeland Security. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise sales, particularly within the Department of Defense (DoD) and public sector environments, and will be skilled in sales forecasting and revenue achievement.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business in existing accounts within the Department of Homeland Security.
  • Drive strategic, enterprise-wide analytics and application platform initiatives.
  • Lead pursuit teams and coordinate with a matrix of support personnel to win new business.
  • Build satisfied, loyal, and reference customers through effective sales strategies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in the DoD or public sector.
  • Proven track record of quota-carrying sales performance.
  • Solid sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement skills.
  • Experience with or understanding of public sector enterprise systems and cloud computing security guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Federal Civilian Agencies.
  • Understanding of public sector acquisition guidelines.
