Salem Media - Riverside is seeking a highly motivated Media Strategist / Account Executive to join our dynamic team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a sales professional who is eager to contribute to our growing on-air and digital sales initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling and managing our multi-media marketing solutions, which encompass radio, digital, and event sales targeted at local small and medium-sized businesses. The primary measure of success in this position will be the ability to reach monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals while simultaneously developing new business opportunities that are designed to meet and exceed client expectations. In this role, you will be tasked with prospecting for local and regional businesses, reaching out to decision-makers, setting meetings, and analyzing client needs. You will create and deliver compelling and strategic advertising presentations that effectively address client objectives. Staying current on local digital marketing trends and opportunities will be crucial, as you will need to create and present strategic marketing proposals for key accounts and new business decision-makers. Additionally, you will be responsible for accurately projecting revenues, meeting and exceeding monthly budgets for all product lines, and ultimately exceeding annual budgets. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of exceeding sales goals in both on-air and online media. A strong understanding of digital products and their positioning in the marketplace is essential. You should have a proven history of successfully selling various digital marketing solutions, including Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Target Display, OTT/CTV, social media, Email Marketing, Chat, and Website Development. Your ability to conduct in-depth needs analysis to uncover client needs and provide tailored solutions will be key to your success in this role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, as you will be presenting multi-varied solutions to diverse groups of clients. Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor is also important in this client-facing role.
