About the position

The Account Executive for Digital Media Sales at Salem Media Group, Inc. is a dynamic role focused on driving sales through multi-media marketing solutions, including radio and digital platforms. The position requires a motivated sales professional to manage and sell to local small and medium-sized businesses, aiming to meet and exceed sales goals while developing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for local and regional business, reaching decision makers and setting meetings.
  • Analyze client needs and create compelling advertising presentations that address client objectives.
  • Research and stay current on local digital marketing trends and opportunities.
  • Create and present strategic marketing proposals for key accounts and new business decision makers.
  • Accurately project revenues and meet or exceed monthly and annual budgets for all product lines.

Requirements

  • A demonstrated track record of exceeding sales goals in both on-air and online media.
  • Knowledge of digital products and their positioning in the marketplace.
  • Experience in selling Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Target Display, OTT/CTV, social media, Email Marketing, Chat, and Website Development.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth needs analysis to uncover client needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting solutions to groups.
  • Proven track record of developing business marketing strategies for local and regional clients.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of clients.
