About the position

The Account Executive for the Department of Defense (DoD) Navy at Salesforce is responsible for driving new business growth within existing accounts and leading strategic initiatives in analytics and application platforms. This role requires a proven sales performer with a strong background in enterprise sales, particularly within the public sector, to enhance customer relationships and achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business in existing accounts within the DoD Navy unit.
  • Drive strategic, enterprise-wide analytics and application platform initiatives in the Departments of Navy.
  • Forecast sales and achieve revenue targets while building satisfied and loyal customers.
  • Lead pursuit teams and coordinate with a matrix of support personnel to secure new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, particularly in the DoD sector.
  • Proven track record of quota-carrying sales performance.
  • Solid sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement skills.
  • Experience with public sector enterprise systems and cloud computing security guidelines.
