About the position

The Account Executive for Education Staffing at Onward Search is a full-time role focused on tactical sales, lead generation, and client management within the education sector. The position aims to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing client relationships, and promoting staffing services to K-12 schools. The role requires a proactive and results-driven individual to enhance educational outcomes by connecting skilled professionals with schools in need.

Responsibilities

  • Actively identify and generate new leads through research, cold calling, and networking within the education sector.
  • Utilize various outreach methods to connect with school administrators and decision-makers, effectively introducing staffing solutions.
  • Maintain a high volume of outbound communication, including phone calls and emails, to engage potential clients and nurture relationships.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional service offerings.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interviews with clients, ensuring a smooth process for all parties involved.
  • Discuss and negotiate rates and contract terms with clients, ensuring alignment with both candidate expectations and client needs.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and refine sales tactics that align with market needs and maximize outreach effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about market trends and hiring needs within schools to tailor outreach efforts effectively.
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and lead conversion metrics to the management team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development and sales, preferably in the staffing industry.
  • Strong understanding of the staffing industry and recruitment process.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
