About the position
The Senior Account Executive - East at Informatica is responsible for directly selling enterprise software solutions, focusing on increasing incremental license and subscription revenue. This role involves developing relationships within assigned accounts, maximizing Informatica's footprint, and collaborating with various internal and external teams. The position requires extensive travel to customer locations, with travel expectations potentially exceeding 50%.
Responsibilities
- Expand sales within assigned accounts while building relationships with key decision makers.
- Develop a strategic and comprehensive business plan for each account, identifying core customer requirements.
- Document customer contact and activity data in CRM/Marketing software in real-time.
- Accountable for accurate forecasting and regular quarterly revenue delivery.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop account plans, including events and seminars.
- Promote Informatica's products and maximize brand recognition at all levels.
- Provide customer feedback for product, systems, and process improvements.
Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent educational background.
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Deep knowledge of hybrid deployment of software solutions, Data Warehousing, Database, and Business Intelligence software concepts.
