About the position

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of current risk transfer programs, including coverage and cost analysis.
• Prepare marketplace insurance submissions and assist in market meetings and negotiations.
• Finalize risk transfer quotes and present comprehensive program options to clients.
• Review contracts and ensure proper client service and documentation.
• Handle invoicing and transactional duties, including audits and adjustments.
• Conduct claims review and analysis, assisting the team with special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in casualty broking or underwriting environment.
• Property and Casualty Insurance license (to be obtained within six months if not already held).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent social skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

• ARM or CRIS designation preferred.
