About the position

As an Account Executive for the Away From Home Team at Kellanova, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships and driving incremental sales and profit across various foodservice segments, including K-12, College/University, Healthcare, Business & Industry, and Commercial accounts. This remote position, based in the Richmond, VA area, involves creating sales solutions informed by consumer insights and maximizing growth strategies for your accounts while building your expertise and network.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and create new business opportunities to enhance Kellanova's profile within the food service industry.
• Strive to exceed customer needs, fostering loyalty and increasing customer satisfaction.
• Conduct business reviews with top operators and distributors, providing fact-based business solutions.
• Maintain accurate customer information using CRM and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members towards common sales goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred experience in Food Service sales and account management.
• Ability to develop, present, and execute customer plans with a focus on communication and account penetration.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and financial acumen.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data (i.e. Nielsen / IRI).
• Strong understanding of trade strategy, retail operation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Flexible work schedule and ability to travel overnight.
