About the position

The Account Executive, Government position at T-Mobile focuses on managing the customer life cycle and driving sales growth within State and Local Government accounts. The role involves selling, renewing contracts, enhancing customer satisfaction, and improving revenue while ensuring customer retention. Responsibilities

  • Utilize contact list to call leads to generate sales opportunities.
  • Exceed monthly sales, renewal, and churn target goals.
  • Welcome customers to T-Mobile, review service agreements, and answer questions regarding service.
  • Establish and cultivate customer relationships to drive sales and increase customer base.
  • Complete customer account maintenance resulting from account reviews.
  • Provide account analysis to determine up-sell and renewal offers.
  • Monitor and resolve customer issues.
  • Track individual account activity and results.
  • Perform extensive data entry and system navigation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Complete continuous training to maintain knowledge of products, services, and sales approaches.
  • Meet/exceed all departmental goals and business objectives.
  • Demonstrate positive and cooperative behavior with customers and coworkers.
  • Disburse adjustments and credits as appropriate within established limits.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 2-4 years of experience selling to Government (State and Local) accounts (Required)
  • Less than 2 years of extensive customer service experience (Preferred)
  • Less than 2 years of business markets sales experience (Preferred)
  • Less than 2 years of wireless industry sales experience (Preferred)
  • Less than 2 years of telesales or technical sales experience (Preferred)
  • Competency in customer satisfaction, sales, attention to detail, communication, presentations, problem solving, and analysis.
