About the position

The Account Executive, Health Plan Sales at Movn Health is responsible for driving growth by establishing and securing new contracts with health plans and payers. This role focuses on expanding Movn Health's services in virtual cardiac rehabilitation, contributing to the mission of providing equitable access to cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities

  • Close deals with key decision-makers within health plans and payer organizations to secure contracts for Movn Health's virtual cardiac rehab services.
  • Create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to payer needs, effectively communicating Movn Health's value proposition.
  • Lead contract negotiations from initiation through execution, ensuring favorable terms that align with the company's business objectives.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective health plan partners, managing relationships from initial contact through contract execution.
  • Analyze market trends, payer needs, and competitive landscape to identify and prioritize opportunities for partnerships.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, clinical teams, and leadership to align partnerships with overall company goals.
  • Ensure all partnerships comply with relevant regulations, guidelines, and contractual requirements.
  • Drive results through focused execution, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare business development, partnerships, or payer contracting roles, preferably within virtual health, cardiac rehabilitation, or chronic disease management.
  • A proven track record of working with health plans and payers, with an established roster of contacts at key organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in securing significant contracts with health plans, negotiating favorable terms, and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to understand payer needs, develop tailored value propositions, and close deals that align with both Movn Health's and the payer's objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements related to payer contracts.
