About the position
The Account Executive (Hospice) at Agape Care Group is responsible for coordinating patient referrals and establishing relationships with local hospitals to secure these referrals. This role involves educating the community and referral sources about hospice care, ensuring continuity of care, and maintaining proper communication and documentation. The position is crucial for making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families, while also providing opportunities for professional development and advancement within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and generate new hospice business in existing and new accounts.
- Identify new markets and maintain existing service.
- Serve as a liaison between the agency, hospitals, medical community, and other referral sources.
- Educate the community and medical professionals about hospice services.
- Interact daily with patients, medical professionals, and referral sources to ensure continuity of care.
- Coordinate appropriate communication and documentation for referred patients.
- Work closely with agency personnel to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in a relevant field or proven work experience in a health-related field.
- 2 years of sales experience in a clinical care setting, preferably in hospice.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently, and lift at least 25 lbs.
