About the position

The Account Executive at Agape Care Group plays a crucial role in coordinating patient referrals and establishing relationships with local hospitals to secure these referrals. This position is dedicated to educating the community and referral sources about hospice care, ensuring continuity of care, and maintaining proper communication and documentation. The role offers opportunities for professional development and advancement within a supportive leadership environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and generate new hospice business in existing and new accounts.
• Identify new markets and maintain existing service.
• Serve as a liaison between the agency, hospitals, medical community, and other referral sources.
• Educate the community and medical professionals about hospice services.
• Interact daily with patients, medical professionals, and referral sources to assure continuity of care.
• Coordinate appropriate communication and documentation for referred patients.
• Work closely with agency personnel to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in a relevant field or proven work experience in a health-related field.
• 2 years of sales experience in a clinical care setting, preferably hospice.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently, and lift at least 25 lbs.
