About the position

The Account Executive role at Agape Care Group is focused on coordinating patient referrals and establishing relationships with local hospitals to secure those referrals. This position is essential in educating the community and referral sources about hospice care, ensuring continuity of care, and maintaining effective communication between the agency, hospitals, and medical professionals. The role involves daily interactions with patients and healthcare providers, making a meaningful impact in the lives of those facing life-limiting illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient referrals and establish relationships with local hospitals.
• Provide education to the community and referral sources on hospice care.
• Generate new hospice business in existing and new accounts.
• Identify new markets and maintain existing service.
• Serve as a liaison between the agency, hospitals, and other referral sources.
• Ensure continuity of care and proper communication with patients and their care teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in a relevant field or proven work experience in a health-related field.
• 2 years of sales experience in a clinical care setting, Home Health, Hospice, DME, or Pharmaceutical sales preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently, and lift at least 25lbs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in hospice or palliative care sales.
• Familiarity with the healthcare industry and referral processes.
