About the position

The Account Executive for HR Solutions at Paychex is responsible for selling HCM products and services to small and medium-sized businesses. This role focuses on expanding the client base, increasing profits, and providing tailored human resource solutions to meet client needs. The position requires a proactive approach to prospecting, client engagement, and leveraging sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting for new clients using referred or self-generated leads through various marketing channels.
  • Meeting with clients to analyze their business needs and how Paychex HCM solutions can address them.
  • Leveraging the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to present Paychex solutions to key stakeholders.
  • Scheduling follow-up meetings with prospective clients and preparing offer presentations using Salesforce CPQ tool.
  • Reviewing sales quotes and agreements with clients, addressing concerns, and negotiating to close sales.
  • Upselling and cross-selling HCM solutions to new and existing clients.
  • Analyzing customer needs using Salesforce data to recommend appropriate products and partners.
  • Completing and submitting sales-related paperwork and reports accurately and on time.
  • Building personal capability through the acquisition of technical and sales skills to meet sales objectives.
  • Collaborating with Paychex partners to resolve client implementation issues and complaints.
  • Attending partner meetings to educate them on HCM solutions and services.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree - Preferred
  • 1 year of experience in inside or outside business-to-business sales.

Benefits

  • Base pay of $57,000 annually + commission
  • Total rewards package based on geographic location, skills, education, and experience
