About the position

The Account Executive position at Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel) is designed for individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit who are motivated to drive their own success. This role focuses on building the market position of Glo Fiber and Shentel by working closely with local small to medium-sized business owners. The primary responsibility of the Account Executive is to identify and sell Glo and Shentel business solutions within the company's service areas. Shentel is a rapidly growing company that offers a range of products and services utilizing its advanced fiber optic network, which spans over 8,300 route miles and includes 220 macro cellular towers. In this position, you will be expected to provide an excellent customer experience by engaging with business owners in the community. As a subject matter expert in Shentel's diverse product lines, you will guide customers through a consultative sales process to help them find their total service solution. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business-to-business sales within the telecommunications industry.
  • Proven track record as a successful sales and customer service professional.
  • Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
