About the position

The Senior Account Executive at Aon is responsible for managing day-to-day client relationships and leading client service teams to meet client needs, ensuring account profitability, and promoting the value of Aon's services. This role involves cultivating relationships with senior client decision-makers, driving renewal processes, and coordinating with brokers to develop client-specific strategies. The position emphasizes a value-based approach to service delivery and requires strong sales skills and extensive experience in risk insurance and account management.

Responsibilities

  • Retain and grow Aon's business by cultivating relationships with senior client decision-makers and day-to-day contacts.
  • Ensure overall account profitability with a value-based approach for the service.
  • Resolve Aon compensation for services, whether fee or commission-based.
  • Promote the full value of Aon specialists and practice groups to clients.
  • Actively seek new business opportunities.
  • Drive the renewal process and assemble the appropriate team for client-specific strategies.
  • Coordinate with brokers in the development and delivery of renewal strategies.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for client service teams.
  • Facilitate critical relationships between clients, Aon, and insurers.
  • Educate clients on risk management, market issues, and relevant trends.
  • Manage invoicing and receivables process for assigned clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of risk insurance experience with project and account management on mid to large accounts.
  • Strong sales skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Active Property & Casualty license.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of industry experience.
