Responsibilities

  • Prospect and close new business from a specified geography or vertical industry.
  • Sell primarily to senior management (director, C-level) at prospect accounts.
  • Maintain minimum weekly/daily metrics and ensure consistent quota achievement.
  • Produce accurate and timely sales forecasts.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all product offerings, with emphasis on custom content marketing programs.
  • Understand the changing business and technology issues faced by potential clients.
  • Collaborate with research teams to understand the Forrester value proposition for prospects.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Average experience of four to five years in a similar role.
  • Experience selling business services to C-level professionals in a competitive market is advantageous.
  • Ability and willingness to make cold calls and book meetings.
  • Proven experience in new-business development and achieving quota goals.
  • Effective presentation, organization, and time management skills.
  • Team player with a fast learning ability and comfort with technology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to do limited traveling.
