Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer accounts.
  • Accurately review and process purchase orders received by phone/fax or email.
  • Process open order reports and expedite orders as needed.
  • Prepare repeat quotes.
  • Pull RFQ packages and enter online quotes through customer portals.
  • Email completed quotes to customers and sales team.
  • Learn product and material offerings.
  • Resolve customer concerns.

Requirements

  • 3 years of administrative experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Relevant work experience in customer service and sales.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, familiarity with Epicor system.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and resourceful problem solving skills.
  • Professional and confident phone skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Government bid proposal and contract experience a plus.
  • Experience in accessing and updating customer portals.
