About the position

The Account Executive, Inside Sales position at Consensus Cloud Solutions is focused on driving commercial sales to Small and Medium Business (SMB) customers through various marketing efforts. This role emphasizes inbound and outbound sales, targeting new customer acquisition and revenue generation, while collaborating with internal teams to fulfill sales strategies and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect heavily to build pipelines resulting in new business.
  • Answer inbound calls or respond to inbound web inquiries efficiently and effectively to generate new sales.
  • Identify revenue expansion and new business opportunities inside prospects and assign leads through add-ons and cross-selling new brands, security enhancements, and new-to-market AI and Cloud Based Data management SaaS products.
  • Negotiate long-term contracts (24-36 months) with new clients focusing on providing best-in-class solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal business leaders, Sales Engineers, Legal, Product, and Marketing to coordinate large-deal strategies, sales campaigns/promotions, and pipeline fulfillment.
  • Engage with all assigned leads and prospects to close immediate opportunities and identify opportunities to expand product footprint with clients and affiliates.

Requirements

  • 1+ years experience in B2B sales
  • 1+ years of quantifiable successful sales experience
  • 1+ years of experience presenting to business leadership via phone and video conference
  • 1+ years of experience selling SaaS and/or UCaaS platforms
  • 1+ years of experience in utilizing CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce
  • Driven and self-motivated to exceed quotas
  • Strong sense of urgency to build a substantial sales pipeline
  • Strong prospecting skills with a hunter mentality
  • Exceptional relationship selling skills
  • Persistence to overcome rejections
  • Coachable, driven to expand knowledge
