About the position

The Account Executive for Instrumentation and Reagents at Biocare Medical, LLC is responsible for driving revenue generation and customer acquisition in the clinical and research markets. This role focuses on promoting Biocare's reagent products and instrumentation to existing and prospective customers, particularly in immunohistochemistry and in-situ hybridization laboratories. The position requires establishing and maintaining customer relationships, managing sales processes, and achieving annual sales quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for revenue generation and new customer acquisition.
  • Promote Biocare reagent products to existing and future customers.
  • Focus on clinical and research markets, particularly immunohistochemistry and in-situ hybridization laboratories.
  • Manage territory using CRM tools and analyze trends to maximize revenue.
  • Introduce and demonstrate new products to customers.
  • Generate quotations, proposals, and contracts to secure new business.
  • Report competitive conditions and customer feedback to management.
  • Coordinate the sales process across the value chain including lab techs, managers, and pathologists.
  • Complete sales calls and expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain sales forecasts to analyze market conditions.
  • Map existing and target accounts to ensure proper deployment of sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant sales and industry experience.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability to changing environments.
  • Self-assured problem solver with strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal formats.
  • Excellence in CRM (SalesForce.com) and Business Intelligence (Tableau).
  • Proficiency in personal computer use and technical applications.
  • Current valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the medical device or laboratory equipment sales.
  • Familiarity with immunohistochemistry and molecular lab testing.
