About the position

The Account Executive IV at Vericast is responsible for managing a sales quota within the Major & Strategic Accounts sales team, focusing on delivering marketing, payments, and engagement solutions to existing bank and credit union clients. This role requires building strong client relationships, understanding their business needs, and collaborating with internal teams to exceed sales targets. The position is ideal for candidates with extensive sales experience in the financial services sector, particularly those skilled in relationship building and solution selling.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales targets
  • Manage multiple concurrent complex sales cycles with average opportunity values of $250k - $500k
  • Deepen existing client relationships while seeking new opportunities
  • Prospect within the existing account territory to identify and qualify new opportunities
  • Consult with clients on business issues and marketing program design
  • Partner with internal teams to develop proposals and deliver strategic sales presentations
  • Travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects, with expected travel at 50%

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • 10+ years in a quota carrying sales role with a track record of over performance
  • Experience with multi-channel marketing disciplines
  • Recent solutions sales experience in financial services, preferably in marketing
  • 1-3 years experience in Marketing, Media, or Advertising
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interpret marketplace needs and translate them into products/services
  • Proficient in solution selling and closing opportunities
