About the position

The Account Executive for VSP Global is responsible for selling and servicing Optics' branded products and services within the Dallas, TX Metro Area. This role involves managing existing accounts, developing new prospects, and promoting the Lab's offerings to doctors. The Account Executive will implement strategic business plans tailored to individual accounts, cultivate relationships with healthcare professionals, and educate customers on industry trends and products.

Responsibilities

  • Sell and service Optics' branded products and services by managing existing accounts and developing new prospects.
  • Formulate and implement strategic business plans specific to the needs of individual accounts.
  • Cultivate and develop strong business relationships with doctors and their staff.
  • Educate customers on industry trends and new lens products.
  • Maintain current working knowledge of existing and new products/services.
  • Act as liaison between Lab and customers to ensure service levels and expectations are met.
  • Document sales activity and monitor account growth within defined territory.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to doctors' staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Two years or more direct outside sales experience.
  • Broad knowledge of ophthalmic lenses and coatings preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated track record meeting sales/revenue goals with major account responsibility.
  • Clean DMV record.
