About the position

The Account Executive position at GBS Corp. focuses on new account prospecting and business development within the labeling and packaging industry. This role emphasizes consultative sales, aiming to create value by effectively discovering customer needs and providing tailored labeling solutions. The position requires a proactive approach to sales, leveraging marketing support and CRM tools to track opportunities and develop sales plans for both existing and new accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on targeted accounts to develop a prospect list using available databases and online research.
  • Work with marketing programs to develop timely follow-up campaigns to advance opportunities through the sales process.
  • Maintain opportunity and account tracking and reporting in our CRM.
  • Develop sales plans for both existing and new account growth.
  • Leverage a value-added solution-based sales approach to position all GBS products and services within assigned accounts.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of GBS products and services and their relevance to the market.
  • Manage time and resources effectively to meet sales objectives.
  • Close new business opportunities to meet sales revenue objectives.
  • Leverage sales opportunities through effective use of both individual and team sales concepts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent industry sales experience.
  • Minimum 5 years demonstrable sales success.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in label and/or packaging related field.
  • Understanding of business processes.
  • Experience in utilizing PC and Internet for presentations, business software, project management, and communication.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, OneNote, etc.).
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Consistent self-starter with strong administrative project management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in consultative sales approach.
  • Familiarity with CRM software.
