Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and build relationships with potential clients.
  • Promote transportation services across multiple terminals.
  • Identify and qualify prospects, schedule appointments, and close new business opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by assessing client needs and following a structured sales process.
  • Collaborate with fellow sales executives and local operations teams.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the LAX air freight and ocean freight markets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional logistics and transportation experience in the LAX market.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain solutions and service offerings.
  • Familiarity with industry terminology, market trends, and best practices in sales and customer service.
  • Strong client-facing management and communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to handle objections effectively.
  • Highly organized and committed to continuous learning.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in MS Office programs.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics (Preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
