About the position

The Account Executive, Major Accounts at Cars Commerce is responsible for supporting the Enterprise Account Executive in ensuring customer success and retention while assisting with account growth. This role emphasizes remote service and collaboration, focusing on managing customer relationships with limited in-person interaction. The position is ideal for individuals who excel in remote sales and customer service, with a strong emphasis on solutions-based selling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key contact for customers, focusing on remote customer retention and satisfaction.
• Assist in managing account portfolios and maintaining revenue targets for various business lines.
• Support the sales or referral of Cars Commerce products/services to current customers and new prospects.
• Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Account Executive (EAE) to execute account strategies.
• Prepare reports and audits for assigned accounts, pulling key insights to inform decision-making.
• Identify and assist in upsell opportunities, working with the Enterprise Sales Executive (EAE) to close deals.
• Demonstrate strong remote sales techniques and product knowledge to retain and grow accounts.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of remote sales experience, with a proven ability to retain business and identify sales opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Consistent track record of achieving sales quotas in a remote environment.
• Prior experience in advertising, SaaS, or software solutions sales is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the automotive industry or digital marketplace is a plus.
• Strong business acumen and ability to understand client needs and industry trends.
