About the position

As an Account Executive for our Banking team at Alloy, you will play a crucial role in executing end-to-end sales strategies aimed at generating and closing new sales opportunities specifically with community banks and credit unions. Your primary focus will be to identify key business needs through thorough account research, leveraging publicly available information, industry connections, and effective prospecting techniques. You will be responsible for building a robust pipeline within a targeted segment, ensuring that you understand the priorities of key stakeholders and decision-makers. By demonstrating how Alloy can help these institutions achieve their goals, you will position our solutions as essential tools in their operations. In addition to generating new business, you will collaborate closely with our Customer Success team to expand the adoption of Alloy's services within our existing client base. This will involve upselling and cross-selling strategies that enhance the value our clients receive from our identity decisioning platform. You will also partner with solution engineering to showcase the full range of Alloy's offerings, ensuring that clients understand the comprehensive nature of our solutions. Your role will require you to develop pricing strategies, lead negotiations, and manage the contracting processes to successfully close deals. Collaboration across the Alloy team is essential, as you will be expected to provide market feedback from prospects and clients to inform our strategies and offerings. This position is based on the west coast, ideally in a major city such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, or Portland, and operates in a hybrid work environment, with remote employees expected to be onsite once a quarter in our New York City office.

Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end sales strategies to generate and close net new sales opportunities with community banks and credit unions.
  • Identify key business needs through account research, including publicly available information, industry connections, and prospecting.
  • Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers, understand their priorities, and demonstrate how Alloy will help them achieve their goals.
  • Prospect and build pipeline within a targeted segment.
  • Develop subject matter knowledge and communicate Alloy value proposition to solve complex business and fraud challenges.
  • Partner closely with solution engineering to showcase the full range of Alloy's identity decisioning platform.
  • Develop pricing, lead negotiations and contracting processes, and close deals.
  • Collaborate across the Alloy team to support and deliver market feedback from prospects and clients.

Requirements

  • 4+ years B2B quota-carrying experience with end-to-end complex sales cycles.
  • Experience at SaaS companies with technical sales within banking, risk, and fintech is a plus.
  • Exceptional research and planning skills; detail-oriented.
  • Strong networker and people connector.
  • Demonstrated consultative sales and strong discovery skills.
  • Ability to manage complex and multi-threaded sales cycles.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate credibly across levels.
