Job Description: Overview: Salem Media Group - LA offers an exceptionalopportunity for a Media Strategist / Account Executive. - We arelooking for a highly motivated sales professional to join ourgrowing on-air and digital sales team. The individual who is hiredwill sell and manage our multi-media marketing solutions includingradio, digital and event sales to local small and medium-sizedbusinesses. - The measurement of success is through reachingmonthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals while developing newbusiness opportunities designed to meet and exceed clientexpectations. Responsibilities: Prospect for local and regional business. - Reach decisionmakers, set meetings, analyze client needs, and create and delivercompelling and strategic advertising presentations that addressclient objectives. Research and stay current on all local digital marketing trendsand opportunities. Create and present strategic marketing proposals for keyaccounts and new business decision makers. Accurately project revenues, meet and exceed monthly budgetsfor all product lines and exceed annual budgets. Qualifications: A demonstrated track record of exceeding sales goals in bothon-air and on-line media Demonstrated knowledge of digital products and how they arepositioned and sold in the marketplace. - A demonstrated understanding of and success in selling SearchEngine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), TargetDisplay, OTT/CTV, social media, Email Marketing, Chat, WebsiteDevelopment, and others. A demonstrated ability to understand categories of businessesto prospect for new clients. A history of doing in-depth needs analysis designed to uncovera client's needs and then provide the right solution(s) to fit thatneed and show data that corroborates and justifies the sale. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and theability to present multi-varied solutions to groups of people asneeded. Proven track record of developing a business marketing strategyfor local and regional clients. Maintain an appropriate professional appearance anddemeanor.
