About the position

The Account Executive Multimedia Sales position at Salem Media Group, Inc. involves selling and managing multimedia marketing solutions, including radio, digital, and event sales, to local small and medium-sized businesses. The role focuses on achieving sales goals while developing new business opportunities and ensuring client satisfaction through strategic advertising presentations.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for local and regional business and reach decision makers.
• Set meetings, analyze client needs, and create and deliver compelling advertising presentations.
• Research and stay current on local digital marketing trends and opportunities.
• Create and present strategic marketing proposals for key accounts and new business decision makers.
• Accurately project revenues and meet or exceed monthly and annual budgets for all product lines.

Requirements

• A demonstrated track record of exceeding sales goals in both on-air and online media.
• Knowledge of digital products and their positioning in the marketplace.
• Understanding and success in selling SEM, SEO, Target Display, OTT/CTV, social media, Email Marketing, Chat, and Website Development.
• Ability to conduct in-depth needs analysis to uncover client needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting solutions to groups.
• Proven track record of developing business marketing strategies for local and regional clients.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of clients.
• Knowledge of Microsoft business software and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
