About the position

The Account Executive Multimedia Sales position at Salem Media - Houston is designed for a motivated sales professional who will be responsible for selling and managing multimedia marketing solutions, including radio, digital, and event sales. The role focuses on achieving sales goals while developing new business opportunities for local small and medium-sized businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for local and regional business, reaching decision makers and setting meetings.
  • Analyze client needs and create compelling advertising presentations that address client objectives.
  • Research and stay current on local digital marketing trends and opportunities.
  • Create and present strategic marketing proposals for key accounts and new business decision makers.
  • Accurately project revenues and meet or exceed monthly and annual budgets for all product lines.

Requirements

  • A demonstrated track record of exceeding sales goals in both on-air and online media.
  • Knowledge of digital products and their positioning and sales in the marketplace.
  • Experience in selling Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Target Display, OTT/CTV, social media, Email Marketing, Chat, and Website Development.
  • Ability to understand categories of businesses to prospect in.
  • Experience in conducting in-depth needs analysis to uncover client needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting solutions to groups.
  • Proven track record of developing business marketing strategies for local and regional clients.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Experience working with a diverse group of clients.
