About the position

The Account Executive - New Business is responsible for delivering insurance and related products to professional services firms, focusing on exceptional customer experience and operational efficiency. This role involves soliciting prospects, managing a large prospect pool, achieving sales targets, and adhering to established sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Solicit prospects via outbound phone calls.
  • Handle policy, system, and payment questions throughout the sales process.
  • Manage a large prospect pool effectively.
  • Achieve sales targets and customer service standards established by the company.
  • Complete light underwriting duties associated with the sales process.
  • Assist in marketing and branding of the program and company.
  • Adhere to an established sales process and contact plan to exceed new business sales targets on a monthly and yearly basis.
  • Be reliable and accountable for own results.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of outbound sales experience (preferred).
  • 4-year college degree (preferred) or equivalent sales experience and industry knowledge.
  • IL P&C license, or the ability to obtain one (preferred).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the insurance industry.
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and quickly apply new skills.
