About the position

The Account Executive at EssilorLuxottica serves as the primary contact for existing accounts within their assigned territory, focusing on sales performance and customer relations. This role is pivotal in driving sales volume for Essilor branded products, acquiring new accounts, and fostering loyalty among existing customers through effective marketing strategies and service excellence. The Account Executive will utilize corporate tools to document and monitor sales objectives, ensuring strong relationships with customer service and lab personnel to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Specialists to drive Essilor branded growth and training opportunities.
  • Develop existing account base (75%) and gain new accounts via territory prospecting (25%).
  • Review cycle plan, market conditions, and customer needs with District Sales Manager to plan territory sales strategy.
  • Build and implement a strategy for all accounts and create in-depth strategy for key accounts.
  • Identify account opportunities in partnership with lab personnel and adjust call schedules accordingly.
  • Utilize Brand Sales strategy to develop trusted partnerships with ECPs to grow their branded product sales.
  • Determine customer needs and position Essilor's premium branded products effectively.
  • Use analytical tools and software applications to manage territory accounts.
  • Employ a consultative selling approach that drives immediate sales and establishes long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct effective account seminars for various audience sizes.
  • Anticipate and address customer needs proactively, resolving issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of demonstrated sales experience with strong results.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including flexibility and adaptability.
  • Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency in software applications.
  • Strong presentation skills and customer service orientation.
  • Customer service experience and/or client relations preferred.
  • Ability to travel overnight approximately 50% of the time.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
