About the position
The Account Executive at Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is responsible for overseeing the Jackson, TN territory, focusing on community engagement and student success. This role involves building partnerships, promoting educational programs, and guiding prospective students through the admissions process. The position offers a starting salary of $75,000 with the potential for a six-figure income after five years, along with generous tuition benefits for employees and their families.
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement event/activity plans to build awareness of online academic programs.
- Shape high-impact partnerships and execute daily work through presentations, calls, and emails.
- Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students and their families through various communication mediums.
- Support prospective students through the admissions process, guiding them towards a successful online learning experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- No delinquent or defaulted federal student loans as verified in the credit report.
- Outstanding time management skills to prioritize competing priorities while traveling.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written, with well-developed listening skills.
- Self-motivation and drive to succeed, taking ownership of interactions with students.
- High emotional intelligence to coach a diverse range of students and develop partner relationships.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for extensive travel in the territory.
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
