About the position

The Personal Lines Account Executive manages an assigned book of business, develops client relationships, and strives to grow and retain clients. May work alongside the Producer, the Account Executive is responsible for overseeing the management of assigned accounts including interacting with appropriate decision makers, proactive consultation, insurance program design, carrier interface/marketing, coordination of risk control resources, relevant collaboration with colleagues throughout HUB, and negotiation of coverage terms and conditions. The Account Executive may work with other members of the client service team, utilizing available resources and personnel as appropriate, in service-related activities in support of clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned book of business and develop client relationships.
  • Oversee the management of assigned accounts including interacting with decision makers.
  • Provide proactive consultation and insurance program design.
  • Coordinate risk control resources and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Negotiate coverage terms and conditions.
  • Ensure Producers are informed about client meetings and interfaces.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with 'C-Level' decision makers.
  • Obtain detailed knowledge of clients' businesses and industries.
  • Directly oversee and coordinate the delivery of HUB services to clients.
  • Conduct annual reviews with clients and make coverage recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell of HUB products.
  • Maintain current receivable status for assigned clients.
  • Design and deliver effective group presentations.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED; College degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of related Personal Lines insurance experience within a brokerage environment.
  • Must have High Net-Worth/Private Client experience.
  • Experience within the Entertainment industry is strongly preferred.
  • Currently licensed in good standing in required lines and states.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and various AMSs (Epic preferred).
  • Willing to complete continuing education requirements.
  • Willing to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
  • Must be willing to work onsite at the Business Manager offices in Encino and Century City.
