About the position

The Account Executive at CVS Health is responsible for managing an existing portfolio and acquiring new business within Self-Funded and Fully Insured Public sector and Labor groups. This role emphasizes building strong relationships both internally and externally to achieve retention and profitability objectives while delivering strategic insights to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an existing book of business and acquire new clients.
  • Meet retention and profitability objectives for assigned accounts.
  • Deliver organized presentations that provide strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Evaluate client plans to ensure needs are met and demonstrate the value of Aetna products.
  • Partner with underwriting to achieve clients' strategic and financial goals for successful renewals.
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging market trends as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients, account teams, and brokers to ensure retention.
  • Share relevant industry data to support new product initiatives.
  • Communicate client retention status to management and understand risk status for all groups.
  • Collaborate with team members on case installations for smooth transitions from sales to account management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the Health Insurance industry.
  • Experience with Self-Funded plans.
  • Health & Life Licensure as required by state, or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
  • Client Management experience with complex customer relationships.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% (overnight, air travel).
  • Physical ability to lift 30-50 lbs.
