About the position

The Account Executive for the Public Sector, specifically focusing on the Department of Defense (DoD) and Navy, is responsible for driving new business growth and managing existing accounts within this sector. This role requires a proven sales performer with a strong background in enterprise sales, particularly within the DoD, to lead strategic initiatives and build lasting customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business in existing accounts within the DoD Navy sector.
  • Drive strategic, enterprise-wide analytics and application platform initiatives.
  • Forecast sales and achieve revenue targets.
  • Develop new opportunities and build a loyal customer base.
  • Lead pursuit teams and coordinate with support personnel to win new business.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in the DoD sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and revenue targets.
  • Strong sales forecasting abilities.
  • Experience with PUBSEC enterprise systems and cloud computing security guidelines.
