The Purpose team is seeking a collaborative Account Executive who is passionate about making a positive social and environmental impact. This role offers the chance to work with high-profile clients and engage in meaningful projects. The ideal candidate will be a strong project manager, an excellent writer, detail-oriented, and full of positive energy.

Responsibilities

• Act as a day-to-day client contact; continually foster client-agency relationship to build trust and become a valuable resource to clients
• Play key role in planning and implementation of account activities, including special events, media events, media relations, social media, desk-side briefings, program implementation, etc.
• Effectively develop full range of written materials including client correspondence, press releases, media pitches, reports, etc.
• Continually build understanding and knowledge of clients' business and competitive environments; apply this information in preparing and presenting client communications
• Develop an understanding of research methods, coordinate internal and external resources
• Be flexible and facilitate teamwork within account team while fully utilizing agency resources to create the 'best teams' for your clients
• Be adept at managing teams, managing cross-functionally and managing up
• While experience working in the area of social or environmental impact communications is preferred, a passion for the specialty is a must!

Requirements

• Two to three years of communications experience in a public relations agency, nonprofit, consultancy or in-house setting
